The 99th Maclean Highland Gathering was held over the Easter weekend with the solo piping and drumming events organized on Good Friday and the band competition held on Easter Saturday. The results of the band competition were as follows:

2nd: Qld Irish Association
3rd: Maclean & District Services Club

Grade 4
1st: Clan Stuart
2nd: Gold Coast Tweed
3rd: Qld Highlanders No 2

Grades 1 & 2
St Andrew's (Grade 2) and Qld Highlanders (Grade 1) played their contest pieces for display only as there were no other entries in their grades.
