New Zealand Championships won by Manawatu Scottish
The Royal New Zealand Pipe Bands' Association held its Annual Championship this weekend in Taupo in New Zealand's North Island. The competition was held over three days, with Grades 3 and 4 contested on Friday and Grades 1 and 2 held on Saturday. The contest culminated today with displays and massed bands. Manawatu Scottish won the Championship, with City of Invercargill taking out Grade 2.
