New Zealand Championships won by Manawatu Scottish

Manawatu Scottish Society's LogoThe Royal New Zealand Pipe Bands' Association held its Annual Championship this weekend in Taupo in New Zealand's North Island. The competition was held over three days, with Grades 3 and 4 contested on Friday and Grades 1 and 2 held on Saturday. The contest culminated today with displays and massed bands. Manawatu Scottish won the Championship, with City of Invercargill taking out Grade 2.

2nd: Taranaki Competing Pipe Band
3rd: McAlpines North Canterbury

2nd: St Andrew's College Pipe Band
3rd: North Otago
