11-05-04 Casey Wilkes wins Australasian Qualifier for the Macallan Trophy The Malaysia Airlines' Australasian Piping Final was held last Sunday at the Irish Club in Brisbane. Competitors from all parts of Australia and New Zealand competed for the opportunity to travel to Lorient for the prestigious Macallan Trophy competition. The top three finalists from this competition will represent Australasia when they travel to France this August. The competition involved three elements: a Scottish MSR, an Irish Selection and a Breton Selection. The final results are as follows: Overall Placings Junior Section Senior Section
